Who We Are

We are Kory and Johnny Peters, two brothers who left Alberta's oil sands with Red Seal Journeyman Boilermaker tickets and a straightforward idea: build roofs the way heavy industry taught us to build anything. Measure twice. Fabricate precisely. Never cut corners because nobody's watching.

We started roofing in 2016, after ten plus years as Red Seal Journeyman Boilermaker Fitters. 600,000 barrel tanks, towers, heat exchangers, boilers, fitting steam headers and piping for the TIG welders. Nobody X-rays a roof the way they X-ray a weld, so the quality control has to be self-imposed. That is what stays with every shingle we nail and every piece of flashing we bend.

We have put hundreds of roofs on Fraser Valley homes since 2016, most of them working for other roofing companies. That is where the trade was learned, on other people's crews, doing the work properly before we ever put our own name on it. Fraser Roofing Ltd. is the company we built after that, incorporated in 2026, and it is based in Chilliwack.

Ten years on, we still show up the same way: two guys in a truck who do their own work, answer their own phone, and stand behind every job with their actual names. We serve the entire Fraser Valley, Hope to Abbotsford and every town in between. No call centre. No subcontractors. Just us.

Fraser Roofing is family-owned and First Nation operated. It matters to us that this company belongs to the valley and to the people who have always been part of it. We live here, our family is here, and every roof we put on carries our name in front of our neighbours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who owns Fraser Roofing?

Fraser Roofing Ltd. is owned and operated by two brothers, Kory and Johnny Peters, both Red Seal Journeyman Boilermaker Fitters who moved from Alberta's oil sands into roofing the Fraser Valley in 2016. Johnny Peters is our Owner, Estimator and Sales. The company was incorporated in April 2026; between them they have roofed homes since 2016.

Why is the company called Fraser Roofing?

Because we are from here. Kory and Johnny Peters were born and raised in the Lower Mainland, in the Fraser Valley, this is home, not a territory we expanded into. The company is named after the place we are from and the place we work, from Hope to Abbotsford. It is also a name we cannot walk away from: a contractor named after the valley has to live beside every roof it puts on.

What makes Fraser Roofing different from other roofing contractors?

Both of us are Red Seal Journeyman Boilermaker Fitters with ten-plus years in heavy industry, 600,000-barrel oil storage tanks, towers, heat exchangers, boilers, and fitting steam headers and piping for TIG welders off blueprints. A roof is a containment envelope with zero tolerance for water, the same as a vessel under pressure, so we roof with an engineering mindset: siding pulled back to run ice and water shield properly, new step flashing and kick-out flashing, chimneys re-flashed rather than caulked, and every detail installed to the manufacturer specification.

Where is Fraser Roofing based?

Our headquarters is in Chilliwack, BC. We serve the entire Fraser Valley from Hope to Abbotsford, including Chilliwack, Harrison Hot Springs, Rosedale, Yale, and Mission.

How long has Fraser Roofing been in business?

We have been roofing the Fraser Valley full-time since 2016, ten years. Fraser Roofing Ltd. itself was incorporated in April 2026, so the company is newer than the crew running it. Before roofing we spent ten-plus years as Red Seal Journeyman Boilermaker Fitters in heavy industry in Alberta, so precision fabrication is second nature.

Do you handle your own roofing jobs or subcontract them out?

We do our own work. Kory and Johnny are on the roof for every project. We don't have a call centre or a fleet of subcontractors. When you hire Fraser Roofing, you get us, the guys whose name is on the truck.
