Westform manufactures their standing seam panels from 24-gauge steel with a Kynar 500 PVDF finish, which carries a 40-year paint warranty. The concealed fastener system means no exposed screws penetrating the roof surface, and thermal expansion clips allow the steel to expand and contract through Fraser Valley temperature swings without buckling or oil-canning.

As boilermakers, we appreciate what 24-gauge means in practical terms. It is 20 percent thicker than the 26-gauge panels many competitors use to shave costs.
